1st Annual Samuel Shaer Suicide Awareness 5k
Stay; You’re not alone.
Welcome to the 1st Annual Samuel Shaer Suicide Awareness 5K! Today, we gather to remember and honor the life of Samuel Shaer, a courageous individual who fought a battle within his mind and sadly lost his life on May 11, 2023. This event serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of mental health and the urgent need to raise awareness about suicide prevention.
All proceeds raised during this event will be dedicated to the counseling fund, a vital resource that provides professional counseling services to those in need. By contributing, you directly support the individuals and families who are grappling with mental health challenges.

"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help. Again, if two lie together, they keep warm; but how can one keep warm alone?"

Easter Sunday!
Good day The Crossing!
One of the most recent songs by sovereign grace music (sovereigngracemusic.com ) about the resurrection of Jesus Christ begins in this way:
“Why do you look in the grave to the one who is alive? Remember his promise: the Son of man will be raised on the third day. The stone was removed, his body was not found, this is the third day, the Lord is risen!
Blessed be our God and father of our Lord Jesus, who lives today—I have a living peace, he brought me back from the death and gave me new life! The title of the song is: He lives today, what a glorious day!”
This coming Easter Sunday 4.4.21 we will gather to celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the grave!
If you don’t have a place to worship this Sunday, join us at 10:30 a.m.
We will be outdoors! The place is an open area in the Subdivision La Floresta (North East McAllen). The name of the street is Stanford Ave. Join us for a time of singing, Bible reading, prayer and to listen to the message of the Resurrection (We will have some chairs available, but feel free to bring your own lawn chair. We will have an outdoor canopy tent ready).
After our time of worship we are planning on having lunch together on our front lawn and driveway. Our home address is 9512 N 17th St. Just a half block from Stanford Ave.
Looking forward to our time of celebration!
